of a television show from my childhood. I’m not sure which show, but I
think it might have been “What’s Happening” with Rog, Shirley, Rerun and
Dwayne. In one episode, one of their friends is a “jock” in college who
it taking a course in “art appreciation.” The jock doesn’t realize that
he is getting preferential treatment as a student athlete. He states
something to the effect of: my professor asked me if I wanted to see

professor gave me an A for the class.
I still chuckle every time I think of that
episode. But now that I think about it, I’m not sure if it was art
appreciation or music appreciation, but the concept is still the same.
